After many weeks on the road, sleeping in unfamiliar places, on the floor, in strange environments....a key question: "how is Elizabeth doing?"
Amazing, we think. She has slept in so many weird spaces...often waking up in different places for many consecutive days. But thankfully, she doesn't seem to mind. Now....don't get us wrong. She HAS had meltdowns. Well, once, that is. That time we were driving a long stretch and she was DONE being in her car seat. But really, after 1500 miles of driving and days and nights which are NOTHING like home....she is still doing great! Praise God!
Tonight, we will be sleeping under the trees in Tuolumne...and once again Elizabeth will have to adjust to life outdoors. She has camped before, on a climbing trip when she was 5 months old....but now she is almost 8 months and this squirmy-crawling(ish)-ball-of-personality-cuteness will have to relearn how to "ruff it". We'll see how that goes....no promises on it going well. And if it doesn't....put these five letters together... M-O-T-E-L! :)
So this blog's for her...a hip hip hooray for Elizabeth....the girl who amazes us.
