Family and freedom

I had a conversation with someone at a coffee shop once....
They said, "Joe, I don't want a family because I don't want to be tied down"

"Yeah"I said.  "Who would want to be tied down to a woman that loves you and is dedicated to you more than any other man.  Who would want to be tied down to a child who's greatest passion in life is to be with you.  Who would want to be tied down to the freedom of always having a best friend who is down for adventure and travel.  Yeah...being tied down, is a rough business"
