We recently spent some time in the dinkey creek wilderness. What a beautiful place! Bald mountain was our destination and it is definitely a place we will return to. We are so amazed at the lessons we learn in the mountains. On this trip we were not prepared for the snow conditions and hours of postholing. Wet socks led to cold feet and it killed our morale. On the summit we talked about how bad conditions can change your attitude and kill enjoyment. We decided that there are no such things as bad conditions in the mountains, just bad attitudes. An amazing lesson on an amazing day!
