Hiking in Squamish

Seriously...you don't have to be hanging off of some verticle rock wall to be having fun.  Now....we do a lot of that...but sometimes, a wee little hike with some great friends is all that's needed to fuel the adventure stoke.

So hiking the Squamish Chief trail and heading up to the 2nd and 3rd summits was a fun outing :)

its an easy trail with lots of stairs and about 2000 feet of elevation gain.  It took us a little over an hour with a few rests.

this girl has literally grown up in this position.  She LOVES trails.  It calms her and puts her to sleep.  We were looking through our photos the other day....and we realized that we have more photos of Elizabeth outside than we do of her inside.  amazing!

yay for summits!

We went with a GREAT group of people.  Our college students at Granville Chapel!  LOVE these guys!!!!!

Squamish is always so scenic and wonderful...no matter what you're doing.

summit lunches always tastes better with a great view

a nice finish to the day....hanging out in Murrin Park with a little lake action!!! ...Elizabeth LOVES the water...she's a little fish.  She cant swim (yet)....but wants to, and wants to be in the water at all time...and what's really crazy to us is, the cold water temp doesn't seem to bother her.  Weird, cause it always KILLS my feat...but then again, I'm a sissy.

these are good days everybody, and we're trying not to miss em...
