Remembering Good Friday in the White house

Seven days a week, at dinner time, we light "the Jesus Candle". As we light it....it's our tradition to say together, "we light this candle to remind us that Jesus is always with us".

Tonight....as per normal, we lit the candle, said our liturgy, but then asked Elizabeth to blow it out.  As the smoke rose from the wick, we told her the story of Good Friday and why today lives up to its name.

...Remembering Good Friday today so that as a family, we wont forget to forgive each other tomorrow.

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it" Proverbs 22:6
