Almost at the end

You see, tonight, some students will be coming over to help us pack up our stuff...take pictures off the walls...and put silverware into boxes. It's about to be the end of living in a place we have loved for 4.5 years...truly loved this place. All 400 square feet of it. We will miss the intimacy it forces, the noise of happy kids stomping above us, and the constant interaction with our friends who live near us. Or, I suppose it's also the end of my pregnancy. This baby...will soon enter the world and learn independence. I hope God gives us wisdom. And, I suppose its also the end of marriage without children. I think I'll miss these days...

With so much ending...I would be untruthful if part of me doesn't feel sad. But maybe I feel sad because of the word, "end". Maybe "ending" is not the most precise word. Not precise because we are moving into a new place, as new family, as married parents. Maybe a better word is "reinvented" (thanks Joy). Hmm....yeah, that word reaks of new adventure...I think I'll stick with that.
