Woke up...went and got cinnamon rolls and coffee...then headed for the hills...to walk around...hang out...explore....and watch a beautiful sunset. Here are some pics from Grouse Mountain...
we went on a small hike...and found a BEAUTIFUL perch to watch the sunset. We carved a seat, just for us, in a snowbank. Sooo nice...
the sunlight was golden...our favorite time of the day
snowshoeing is always fun...something about floating on the snow...makes anybody feel like a kid again...
it was good to see this on Heidi's 27th birthday!
then...after the sunset...we headed down the mountain for some hot chocolate and dinner at a local restaurant.
...and now, we just rented a movie (a cheesy Christmas flick) to finish off the night.

I sincerely hope that you did not do the Grouse Grind, Heidi. If you did I think I might have to be sick.
haha. No Liesel, I (Heidi) didn't do the Grind. It's closed for the winter...though that never seems to stop people. We took the gondola up to the top and snowshoed around - very low key, as the baby has been putting pressure on my sciatic nerve the last bit and it causes a lovely sharp pain through my groin. Only a few more weeks!
Oh, okay. Whew. We can be friends again. :)
