Somebody recently asked us..."how do you guys get out so much...running, hiking, climbing, walks, etc....with a baby?" Our response: "Honestly, it's a bunch of effort getting out of the house. Sometimes, we get into the car and say "success"...just to remind ourselves to delight in the fact that we got out of the house! Sometimes, we're not sucessful and we have to say to eachother, "well, maybe another day". But here's the plain and simple truth regardless of how well we do at getting out of the house: We want to invite Elizabeth into our lives, into our rhythm, and expose her to each of natures seasons...the seasons we find multiple ways to enjoy. Getting out is a challenge...but a good challenge...and we think (actually, know, based on our own experience), a challenge that is always rewarded IN FULL."
Today we went back country snowshoeing with my parents (who are visiting from California) at Mount Seymour. We went to the first lake en route to dog mountain. It was really fun. Here are some pictures to remember the day.
