Pa'san Ridge Trail

Over the summer we spent some time at a spot we continue to return to just outside of Auberry, CA in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The Pa'san Ridge Trail is a 7 mile loop that ascends about 1500 feet of elevation and has great single track overlooking the San Joaquin River Gorge.

Most of our time on the trail is spent telling epic stories, singing, asking "would you rather" questions, eating, and repeating some of our families mantras. Mantras like, "don't stop until the job is done", "find your mountain pace" and "use your mountain step."

These are good days.

Hiking - Bridge Trail (San Joaquin RIver Gorge)

It was a short hike....2 miles out and back with a fair amount of elevation gain.  The big kids did SO WELL on their own feet.  It's a wonderful hike that follows an oak woodland until it meets the San Joaquin River Gorge.  There you'll find a narrow suspension bridge over a beautiful river lined with granite walls.

After the hike (maybe 2 hours), we enjoyed a selfie and food back at the trailhead.

Good days!
